Brendan JonesHale Irwin

One of the world's leading golfers from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, Hale has won three US Open titles, 20 US PGA tour events and 45 tournaments on the Champions Tour.  Now in his sixties, he remains a force to be reckoned with picking up three top 10 finishes on the Champions Tour in 2012.

Brendan JonesBrendan Jones

With a world ranking of 77 Jones is the highest ranked professional golfer to play in New Zealand this summer.  Brendan has won twice in Japan in 2012 taking him to 16th on the tour's all-time money list. He is yet to win in New Zealand but is looking forward to returning to Queenstown and potentially resuming his pro-am pairing with Justin Marshall.

The defending champion has hit a rich vein of form in 2012.  Following his victory at the NZ PGA Championship Michael won three times in tournaments around the Pacific.  This summer he has featured strongly on the PGA Tour of Australasia and after a string of top ten finishes is second on tour's Order of Merit.

Mark BrownMark Brown

Following five years on the European Tour Mark has returned home and this summer has hit top form.  Compelling top 5 results in the Australian Masters and the NZ Open have left him fourth on the Australasian tour Order of Merit.

Ryan FoxRyan Fox

A rising star of New Zealand golf, Ryan is renowned for his long hitting and no-nonsense approach.   In his rookie year as a professional he has already claimed their tournament victories, including the Fiji and Tahiti International Opens. Ryan will be looking to improve on 4th place in the 2012 NZ PGA Championship.

David SmailDavid Smail

Once New Zealand's top ranked golfer, David has seven professional victories to his name including the 2001 NZ Open. He has won five times on the lucrative Japan Tour and secured a 16th year on the tour with two top 20 finishes in his last three events in 2012. David finished tied for 34th in the 2012 NZPGA Championship at The Hills but is more than capable of making a title challenge second time around.

Nick CullenNick Cullen

A player who burst onto the world stage when he won the 2012 Indonesian Open. Nick has had a solid year on the PGA Tour of Australasia and is currently 11th on the Order of Merit. Finished in the top 10 at The Hills in 2012 and will hoping for a repeat performance in 2013.

David SmailDavid Smail

Once New Zealand's top ranked golfer, David has seven professional victories to his name including the 2001 NZ Open. Brendan JonesPeter O'Malley

A regular visitor to New Zealand, Peter has also made a habit of picking up titles on this side of the Tasman, including the 2005 NZPGA Championship. POM has not had too much success at The Hills in the past, but is too good to count out of the running whenever he lines up on the PGA Tour of Austrasia.
